Liquid Gold. That is how to best describe the rich and oh so delicious syrup we get from the sap of our black walnut trees. Planted over fifty years ago, the trees in our walnut grove are now large enough to tap and each spring, as temperatures warm and the cold of winter begins to fade, we head into the woods to collect the sap. Once collected, the sap is boiled over a wood fire until all that is left is the absolute goodness of pure black walnut syrup. There are few things a special as this. Pure Liquid Gold. Produced in limited quantity as the trees permit.
